Plains coreopsis, garden tickseed, golden tickseed, or calliopsis is an annual forb. The plant is common in Canada, northeast Mexico, and much of the United States. It is found especially in the Great Plains and Southern states where it is often called “calliopsis.”
How did I find all of this out, you ask?
Well, a fellow ds106 member sent me on… quite a wild goose chase.
Here she is – what a beauty, eh? This puppy grows up to 32-48 inches, some people would kill for that!
This assignment caught me off guard to be completely honest. At first, I wasn’t sure if the assignment was serious or not.
Seeing as it’s a one star, this one was fairly simple – a few google searches and some basic research and you’re done.
